Job summary/Role description

Support all the site in developing training materials and coaching site training staff.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

Following the guidelines given by the Responsible, the Construction HSE training Coordinator has the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop a typical “HSE Training Matrix” according to Contractor standard and updated the matrix for each site including mandatory and optional courses for different job groups/risk activities, as per local legislation and Client requirements;

  • Promote HSE culture in developing and providing HSE leadership course and awareness training/workshop for Contractors, Subcontractors and Site Resources;

  • Prepare and elaborate the adequate HSE training delivers, materials, schedule as per the Project “HSE Training Matrix” and for HSE leadership for managers;

  • Coordinate and coach the site HSE trainers in delivering the HSE Induction for Contractors and Subcontractors workforce;

  • Coordinate and coach the site HSE trainers in delivering theoretical and practical specific HSE training for Contractors and Subcontractors workforce as per Project “HSE Training Matrix” with the support of Subcontractors trainers;

  • Verify that at site level a “HSE Training register” is properly filled and updated after completion of training courses, recording attendance sheet and results of competency tests;

  • Monitor that the training performance record are update and report regularly to the respective Site HSE Manager and to the Home Office;

  • Verify the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodical report related to training information and KPI, monitoring compliance with the target identified

 

 

Person Specification

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • University degree or diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

  • Candidate must possess a valid CIDB Green Card

  • Preferably with experience working on Petronas projects in Pengerang, Johor

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience.
