Job summary/Role description
|
- Report
to the HSM or, while he / she is the TCM HSE representative at site, and
reports to the Site Manager.
- Verifies
and ensures that all field activities are performed according to the TCM
HSE policy, the regulations, standards and procedures, promoting all
preventive and corrective action as required.

Duties and responsibilities
|
- Responsible for inspecting, testing compliance
ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of mechanical equipment and
systems according to applicable codes, standards, and project
specifications.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment
such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, piping systems, valves,
and HVAC units.
- Witness and verify performance and pressure
tests (e.g., hydrostatic, pneumatic).
- Ensure proper installation and alignment of
mechanical systems.
- Ensures equipment and installations comply with
relevant codes and safety standards and requirements.
- Verify that materials and fabrication or
repairs meet design and regulatory requirements.
- Review and verify equipment documentation:
drawings, datasheets, certificates, and test reports.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and issue
inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs) as required and
push for resolution and re-inspection/confirmations.
- Ensure safe inspection practices, especially
when working on pressurized or high-temperature equipment.
- Report unsafe conditions or equipment defects
that could pose risks.
- Crane inspection is a critical process to
ensure lifting equipment is safe, functional, and compliant with
regulatory standards. It involves checking mechanical, structural,
electrical, and safety components of a crane, whether mobile, tower,
overhead, or crawler.

|

Knowledge & Qualifications
|
- A
Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering Course.
|
|
Experience
|
- Minimum
10 years’ experience.
- Relevant
experience in 3 major EPC projects; oil & gas, petrochemical sector.
- Holding
a NEBOSH GC/IGC certificate is an advantage.
- Diploma
in safety or any other HSE Certification (considered at ADNOC Group
discretion).
- ADNOC
approval will be added advantage.
